Seoul Forest had been a royal hunting ground for kings and served as a military inspection facility in the past. However, in more recent decades, the area has served a wide variety of functions. Ttukseom initially served as a water-treatment facility and later as a golf course, horse racing track, and eventually a sports park.
Opened in 2005, Seoul Forest consists of five parks: a Cultural Art Park, an Ecological Forest, a Nature Experience Study Field, Wetlands Ecological Field, and Hangang River Waterside Park.

VERY calming experience immersing yourself in a forest like environment. Escaping the bustling city to a peaceful, quite park is definitely a must experience. The forest park is filled with tall trees of all colours making you feel small and out of place, everywhere you look is an insta worthy photo with everything looking absolutely beautiful.
