About World Cup Park

World Cup Park was opened in 2002 to commemorate the 17th FIFA World Cup. The site of a 15 year old landfill was converted over a period of seven years into the beautiful scenery there today. 

It is made up of five parks including: the Sky Park, Sunset Park, Nanji Stream Park, Nanji Han River Park, and Peace Park.
