The historic palace complex is centrally located in Seoul City Hall. English information or descriptions were not available. It would have been nice to see a little more green. It was early March when we visited. Perhaps it will be later in the year. (

So much to see in this palace. We miss the secret garden this time. Will definitely visit again in our next trip.

Not the biggest of the palaces but very interesting history (where the Korean Empire was proclaimed) and architecture (with traditional and Greek architecture side by side) on offer here. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

Deoksugung is a really nice place to visit in Seoul. You can feel the local culture there and learn a lot about Korean history. The palace is really big and there are a lot of buildings to see. You can also see the changing of the guards, which is really cool. The gardens are really beautiful and peaceful, with lots of trees and flowers. It s a goo... see more
