It was a good thing that the Japanese building was left as is. The exhibits show the extent of the torture that the prisoners were put through, there are beautiful souvenirs, which make it an ideal family vacation, as well as the memories. (

) It is a building with two floors above ground and one floor below the ground. The contents of the Japanese colonial period and Seodaemun Prison were displayed, and there was a space where torture scenes were reenacted. I wish it had been better preserved. Looking at the two prisons, it was a pity. (

It is well-written and has some very real parts. I would recommend this place for children to learn history and also to explore freedom. However, on weekends the commercial areas around it are closed. If you wish to view restaurants and other attractions you'll need to find another place.
