After having visited other palaces that gave me such a wonderful vibe, Changdeokgoong gave me something more personal. The entry is only 2 dollars. Secret garden tours are similar priced. I would definitely go back to the palace

We went to the East Palace today because Tuesday's West palace was closing. The architecture is classic Korean. The daughter and missus managed to rent Hanboks to take beautiful photos.

Changdeokgung Palace, a magnificent royal residence is located east Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is one of the most well-preserved Joseon palaces.

The Changdeokgung is smaller than the Gyeongbokgung main palace. We were told by King Taejong that he murdered his half-brothers in Gyeongbokgung so he built Changdeokgung.
